I'm Still here

Sometimes I feel as if, now that there is someone else
you can't confide in me anymore

but you can
I'm still here

always

Fears

people are endlessly saying they are afraid of stuff.
Afraid of clowns, toads, the boogie man, my sister.
but the thing about fear is that the way we percieve it is wrong.

you are not actually scared of sharks.
you are scared of what the shark might possibly do to you

you are not afraid of falling off a cliff,
if any of you have read twilight, you would know that it could actually be an exhilarating experience.
No, you are afraid of what might happen when you get to the bottom of the cliff.

you are not afraid of telling the truth,
you are afraid of what may result in revealing your true feelings

you are not afraid of falling in love,
you are afraid of what happens when you fall out of it

Why not another while I'm at it

well, i have, throughout my time, tried to be philisophical, and here is an attempt i wrote a while ago...

Admiration...it’s a funny word. Not funny haha, but funny unusual and debateable.
By dictionary, it is “a feeling of wonder, pleasure, or approval”.
Synonyms for it are adoration, affection, fondness.
But according to my English teacher, admiration is also what one feels when a teenager and have feeling for someone of the same sex.
Now it strikes me as odd that such feelings of ‘admiration’ can lead to lifelong partnerships. Firstly, the world really does seem to have a conspiracy against gays... now they are saying that teenagers, when at the age where they start to discover their sexuality, are merely discovering that they have fondness for someone.
As satisfying a discovery this may be for the teens who fear they are gay, but don’t want to be, and they can just put these feelings off as ‘admiration’ or just a stage they are going through, what happens to all the other teens who feel they are certain that this is what they want.
Is the world trying to say to them ‘hey look, we realise that you have these feelings, but know what, it’s just a stage and you’ll get over it’. What happens when they don’t get over it? What happens when they either
a) jump off a bridge and die cuz they are so messed up in the head with all their feelings and think that there is something wrong with them because their feelings of ‘admiration’ never stopped when everyone else’s did,
b) they get on with ‘straight’ life and decide that ‘hey, I’ve been confused my whole life, but now I know I want be a lesbian’ and as a result get shunned by society, both because of the way they decided to become a lesbian and the whole idea of being one in the first place or
c) they never announce their feelings to the world and instead live un-happy lives....is society going to care that you did what they wanted and got nothing of what you wanted?
No they will just say that no matter what happens to you, you deserve it for thinking unpure thoughts or something and move on to the next piece of gossip.
What am I getting at here?
I don’t know, but what I do know is that society needs to be less judging.
They need to accept people for who they are and move on. If you want to be a lesbian, go ahead. If you want to bungee jump for a living, go ahead, if you want to singe your eyebrows each morning over the toaster, go ahead.

IT’S NONE OF MY BUSINESS, SO I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU DO!

In conclusion, if you are gay, i don't really give

Woot Woo!
